Harley Beecroft
Hi my name is Harley Beecroft and I would like to talk about Building Futures Together. My experience at Building Futures Together was amazing. I was taught very well and got shown how to do everything I know today.
It has helped me out a lot with my job. The lads that work there, Jack John and Paul, are all great and easy to get along with and you can have a good laugh with them all. They all know what they are doing and will help you out if your struggling with the work that they have set you and help you get it right. Me and a few other boys worked with Jack and he made sure everything you did was right and made sure that if you messed up at your task he would help you to get it right and never made it so you had to worry.
Building Futures Together helped me study for my CSCS card and when I finally went to go and do it I passed and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them and I also wouldn’t have a job if it wasn’t for the all the team. Building Futures Together is a great place to go if you are wanting to get into the trades of plumbing or be an electrician for anything and everything that you need to know. If you go I can definitely say you will enjoy your time there because I and the other boys definitely did.

John Jack and Paul are great and easy to get along with you can have fun whilst learning new skills. The skills are helpful and give you an idea of what you may want to do when you leave school, I wanted an apprenticeship and the work I did at Building Futures Together was important. I was unsuccessful with a couple of apprenticeship applications but stayed in touch with John with regards advice and guidance.
Whilst attending college John spoke to my dad about an opportunity for an apprenticeship, I wanted it so met the chap, I managed to get the job. if you’re struggling with finding work stay patient as things will happen if you work hard. Building Futures Together have said they will support me if needed. Building Futures Together is a great place to go if you are wanting to get into the trades of plumbing or be an electrician it’s a good introduction, its fun and you learn valuable skills.
Harrison Ridsdale
My name is Harrison Ridsdale, and I’d like to share my experience at Building Futures Together. I attended as part of a school program from Pudsey Grammar, alongside other young people learning valuable skills. I particularly enjoyed plumbing with Jack, and also gained experience in electrical work with Paul.
Building Futures Together significantly influenced my career path. Before my GCSEs, John suggested the program as a valuable supplement to college. I worked two days a week, gaining practical experience while earning my qualifications. They provided all necessary PPE, including work boots and clothing.
John, Jack, and Paul created a supportive and engaging environment. While there was a strong emphasis on professionalism, including punctuality and presentation, we also had a good laugh. They ensured I understood employer expectations and provided guidance whenever I faced challenges.
I highly recommend Building Futures Together to anyone considering a career in plumbing or electrical work. The skills and experience I gained have been invaluable as I now pursue an apprenticeship.
